Hi, my name is David Beaver. I am the owner and operator of Wild Beaver Foraging. My favorite places are the mountains and the sea, and I love to share the tastes of both.

I spent the first part of my life in southeast Florida, where my mother and father instilled a love for the outdoors that I carry with me still.

When we moved from coastal Florida to the mountains of Western North Carolina, I was able to practice these principles in a completely new ecosystem. This is where I fell in love with mushrooms and the magic of the forest. I spent 28 years in WNC and learned so much. I believe there is so much more to learn and its my passion to share knowledge learned along the way, as those that came before me have so freely shared.

I offer this passion project because I want share these amazing wild foraged goods with everyone. I have enjoyed them for a long time and I would like for you to enjoy the amazing possibilities the wild holds. The freshest, the best quality ingredients make the best products.
